Laptop batteries and chargers

A worn battery and a missing charger are the two most common issues with used laptops. A replacement battery must match the battery part number printed on the battery or listed for your model, not just the model name. A replacement charger must match the voltage, have equal or higher wattage than the original and use the right connector (small pin, large pin or USB-C). Chargers described as pulled from used machines are second-hand, so ask about warranty. New batteries often need a few full cycles before they report capacity accurately.
